The Prioritization Hack I Swear By

Hey there Reader,

Have you ever gotten to the end of a workday and wondered where your time went and why, yet again, your important tasks didn't get completed? You're not alone! Prioritization is one of the hardest things to master - not only in business, but in our personal lives too!

This all changed for me when I found out about the Eisenhower Matrix. Now, one thing about me is I LOVE SIMPLE! If it's too complicated, no matter how great it is, I will NOT DO IT. This tool is one of the simplest to use, and gives the biggest reward!

More about this in a sec...

1. Tip of the Week: The 2-Minute Reset

When you're feeling overwhelmed, try this simple (there it is again!) exercise: Set a timer for 2 minutes and write down everything that's holding space in your head. Don't organize. Don't prioritize. Just write.

This quick brain dump clears mental space and gives you a starting point to get it all organized. It's like clearing the weeds before getting started planting.

2. Resource: Prioritizing Like a Pro

I'm excited to share my latest blog post about using the Eisenhower Matrix to transform your productivity. This powerful tool has helped me navigate busy weeks with more ease, and I've included a free downloadable spreadsheet template to help you implement it right away.

Check it out here.

3. Thoughtful Reflection: Permission

It’s so easy to confuse urgency with importance. I’ve been guilty of putting out fires and saying yes to things that felt pressing but didn’t move me forward. Once I started using the Eisenhower Matrix, I could finally see where my time was really going—and focus on what mattered most.

What could you accomplish if you gave yourself permission to prioritize?

Hi, Reader Can I say something out loud? Sometimes, email doesn’t feel hard because you don’t know what to say. It feels hard because it no longer feels like a conversation. You open a blank draft. You overthink the subject line. You wonder if anyone’s even reading. And after a few quiet sends… your motivation just disappears. It’s not strategy. It’s not discipline. It’s not that you “need better copy.” It’s that talking into the void gets exhausting. That’s why I love what Anna Crosby...

Happy New Year! I hope you're feeling energized and ready for what 2026 has in store. I wanted to start the year by giving you something practical: a 2026 Monthly Calendar you can print and use all year long. But here's the thing: this isn't just any calendar. You'll notice there's a box on each month that says "MY BIG GOAL." That's intentional. Because here's what I've learned after nearly 20 years of helping entrepreneurs build sustainable businesses: we don't fail because we don't set...

100% Responsibility

2025 is coming to a close! Have you reviewed the year yet? I did. And here's what I found out. I've been making excuses. Yes, I know better. But... This year has had its challenges, and I've been blaming my fatigue, which, yes, IS a REAL thing (perimenopause is no joke), BUT I've been using it as an excuse for not getting stuff done. My best focus time is in the morning. I'm an early bird, always have been. Afternoons are exhausting (even more so lately). I have always protected my morning...
